Dr. Jason Brinkley is a Biostatistician and Health Researcher out of Raleigh, NC. He maintains an Adjunct Professor of Public Health and a researcher with the NC Agromedicine Institute at East Carolina University. Dr. Brinkley has worked with a variety of individuals in the medicine, public health, business, education, and the natural and social sciences. He currently serves as NC Chapter Representative for the American Statistical Association and is on the Executive Committee for the Southeast SAS Users Group. He balances research time between theoretical ways to assess the impact of medical interventions on public health and the best practices for using statistical software. A member of the American Statistical Association, the American Public Health Association, and the American Association for the Advancement of Science; he recently served on the Customer Advisory Board of the JMP Division of SAS Institute. Dr. Brinkley has authored or co-authored articles in a wide range of journals including Biometrics, Statistics in Medicine, Annals of Surgical Oncology, Journal of Cancer Therapy, Partner Abuse, Journal of the American College of Surgeons, Neuropsychiatric Genetics, Obesity Surgery, The Family Journal, The Journal of Social Media in Society, The Journal of Autism Developmental Disorders, Hospital Pediatrics, Journal of Public Health Management & Practice, and Preventive Medicine. He has expertise in a wide range of statistical and biostatistical methods (e.g. Longitudinal and Survival Regression Methods, Predictive Modeling, Causal Inference, Cluster Analysis) along with basic psychometric methods (Factor Analysis, Reliability, Rasch Models); he specializes in customized data visualizations, maps and dashboarding.

After graduating from the Minneapolis Community and Technical College with his Associate of Arts degree in 1999, Eric Christopher (E. C.) Hedberg earned his Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of Chicago 10 years later. Hedberg's current areas of research include investigating the design of evaluations in education and criminology, in addition to measuring social capital through social network contextual effects. He is best known for estimating and publishing important experimental design parameters.
Hedberg has authored or co-authored over 30 peer-reviewed methodological papers and books that have appeared in education, medical, and criminological journals, while also contributing to numerous reports and presentations at major research conferences such as APPAM, AERA, SREE, ASA, and ISNA. He has also authored a SAGE “little green” book on statistical power analysis.

Toi Fitzgerald Cook is a former professional American football player who was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the eighth round of the 1987 NFL Draft. A 5'11", 188 lb (85 kg). defensive back from Stanford University, he played in 11 NFL seasons from 1987 to 1997. In 1992, he had a career-high six interceptions for 90 yards and one touchdown for the Saints. He appeared in Super Bowl XXIX for the victorious San Francisco 49ers. He had an interception in the Super Bowl. Before his NFL career, he was an outfielder, and the lead off hitter, on Stanford's 1987 College World Series national champion baseball team
